ABOUT THE PROJECT
There is hardly a person in the world who would not be familiar with mice. Little gray mice are the heroes of many fairy tales, cartoons and books. Mice are often mentioned in proverbs and sayings, but how well do we know the mice themselves, their habits, and habitat?
We rarely see mice in nature. However, the life of most predatory animals depends on them. Predators hunt rodents for food continuously, day and night. Inconspicuous mice resemble the tireless heart of the animal world, which pushes life on. Without them, it will stop.
The mouse is a mammal, a detachment of rodents and a suborder of mice. The order of rodents is one of the most numerous on the planet. There is no place on earth that these small animals would not master. They are tough in any natural area, they are not afraid of either arid regions or snowy places.
Mice are nocturnal, they are cautious, they have a very acute hearing and sense of smell, in addition, due to their small size, they can live almost imperceptibly close to people, while remaining invisible. At the same time, mice still remain wild and free animals, living, albeit next to a person, but independently of him.
Our project is trying to slightly open the door to the mouse world. For a person, often, a running mouse is just a gray shadow that flashed nearby. Humans rarely get to see mice in their habitat due to their size, where small rocks become rocks and moss thickets become dense forest. Meanwhile, their life is rich, emotional and full of events. Brief moments from the life of mice, captured in photographs, allow you to see how cute and graceful creatures they are, unique in every movement on a short life path.
